Healthy Island products are made up of fruits and vegetables and are formulated without the addition of fructose, added sugar, sodium, wheat or wheat derived ingredients or added preservatives. If you have any concern, we recommend you consult with your doctor.

Do Healthy Island products contain any artificial sweeteners?

The only sweeteners are the natural sweeteners that the fruits produce. In Healthy Island Acai product there is added organic cane sugar in keeping with the traditional Brazilian method of preparing Açai.

What is the shelf life for the products?

Healthy Island products maintain a 2 year shelf life. Keep all products refrigerated after opening. Consume product within 60 days when opened.

Are your products flash pasteurized?

Yes, all liquid dietary supplements we make are flash pasteurized.

Flash pasteurization is a method of heat pasteurization of perishable beverages like fruit and vegetable juices, beer and dairy products. Compared to other pasteurization processes, it maintains color and flavor better.
It is done prior to filling into containers in order to kill spoilage microorganisms, to make the products safer and extend their shelf life.

I see chunks in my juice, what is it?

At times some of these healthy fruit’s juices can be intimidating to look at as sediment settles on the bottom and floats at the top. This sediment is actually the meat that makes the product healthy.
With our whole fruit technology Healthy Island takes advantage of as much of the healthy, wholesome, and medicinal properties of the fruit. By using portions of the fruit, such as the outer pericarp, you will see this sediment settle down to the bottom of the product – what you are seeing actually makes this product so healthy! (Shake well before using!!)
The Mangosteen juice concentrate we have was made from fresh fruit, and the mangosteen fruit has a natural amount of latex as part of the fruit. So when the final heated mixture is allowed to settle, the latex wax molecules collect together and you get this white milky glob... once you shake the bottle up this disperses again and is not noticeable... it is NOT a pathogen, and is fully safe for human consumption and is NOT mold, or any other bad thing.
